Over the last 23 years Pip has worked extensively across the creative industries of film, theatre and large-scale cultural & international events as a production or event designer, design assistant and graphic artist.
Most recently Pip was the set designer for Sydney Festival’s Siegfried and Roy the Unauthorised Opera and part of the design team for Brisbane’s enormous immersive experience; Bluey’s World.
In 2024 she was the lead designer for Powerhouse Museum’s multi award winning 1001 Remarkable Objects Exhibition and the site designer for Sydney Festival.
2023 saw her as local designer for Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon for Sydney Festival and the site designer for Base Camp for Illuminate Adelaide.
In the recent past she has worked as the Assistant Set Decorator on the Netflix series Pieces of Her. Prior to this she worked as the Festival Designer for the 2019, 2018 and 2017 Sydney Festival, including the design of the 2018 and 2017 Meriton Festival Village and was the Designer of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony. Working closely with the New York Scenic Supervisors, Pip was also the Scenic Associate for the 60th Anniversary production of My Fair Lady, directed by Dame Julie Andrews.
Pip has worked as a designer for both established and independent theatre companies including Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Belvoir St Theatre, Griffin Theatre Company, The State Theatre Company of South Australia and Darlinghurst Theatre and as the Design Associate on Priscilla: Queen of the Desert - The Musical in Milan and Sao Paulo.
Pip has also worked on major local and international cultural events including White Night, Harvest Music Festival, Chinese New Year, Handa Opera on the Harbour, Vivid Sydney, Sydney New Year’s Eve, Sydney Mardi Gras, 2006 Commonwealth Games Ceremonies and the 2003 Rugby World Cup Opening Ceremony.
